Our History
Kingdom Connectors Incorporated (KCI) was born from the vision of Deborah “Deb” Matthews and her godsister, Deloris Meadows, who shared a passion for helping individuals navigate life-changing circumstances with compassion, dignity, and support.
In 2016, Deb officially incorporated KCI, bringing more than 35 years of human services experience and a deep commitment to connecting people with the resources they needed. With the support of a dedicated Board of Directors, KCI became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2020, expanding Deb’s vision into a growing community resource.
Following Deb’s passing in 2023, her legacy continues through the Board she helped build, with Kay-Dean Hayden leading KCI into its next chapter.
Today, KCI serves as a virtual resource center and community connector, creating a safe space for mental health conversations where they may not traditionally happen and building partnerships that connect individuals, families, organizations, and communities to resources and one another.
